Since the classic Sailor Moon episodes have ended on Hulu, I will start posting blogs on Anime I’m currently watching on streaming platforms such as Hulu, Netflix, or Crunchyroll. I will still post on Sailor Moon Crystal as well until the current season ends, but those will be separate. This week’s you should be watching will cover two brand new shows now currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
Haven’t You Heard, I’m Sakamoto!
Sakamoto is the perfect student. He is loved by all the girls and all the guys are jealous of him. Sakamoto is cool, cooler, COOLEST! He can solve any problem with absolute perfection, no matter how outrageous it it.
Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto is an absolutely hysterical anime about the perfect Sakamoto. Based on the manga by Nami Sano, Studio Deen has adapted it and it is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. New episodes air every Friday here as they air in Japan. There are currently three episodes that have aired. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga, with three volumes currently available and the fourth due out in July. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime but no release date yet for Blu Ray or DVD.
Here is the PV:
Katsuhira Agata is a high school student that has a high tolerance to pain. So high in fact he doesn’t feel much of anything. AT ALL. A few days before summer break, he and a group of his classmates are kidnapped by the emotionless Noriko Sonozaki. She then tells them they have all become part of the “Kizuna System” project. With this project, Katsuhira and his classmates become “Kiznaivers”, where he does finally feel pain, and if any of the single “Kiznaivers” in the group experiences pain, they all share it. Noriko has also picked these students for their personalities, as unbeknownst to all of them except Katsuhira, represent the seven deadly sins.
Kiznaiver is the next big thing from Studio Trigger, the same guys who brought you Kill la Kill. I am a huge fan of Kill la Kill and am really enjoying this series as well. The character designs and animation are amazing. Crunchyroll is streaming episodes as they air in Japan. New episodes get released every Saturday. This series is currently at four episodes.
Here the PV:
I will try and posts these often, as I do have other shows that I am currently watching as well. I will showcase two shows per blog. For now, enjoy!
