It has been rumored for quite some time, but now it has been confirmed. Nintendo has announced that the ever popular Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie from Splatoon will have their own Amiibo!
Unlike the previous Inkling boy and girl that unlocked items in game, the Sisters will open up songs that they will perform on stages in game. Most of their songs have been seen live. You can find the videos on Youtube, plus I posted the video in an earlier blog (celebrating my one year anniversary on WordPress). They will come as a set retailed at $24.99 on July 8th. Also being released on the same day are different color variations of Inkling Boy and Girl. You can buy those individually for $12.99 or in the $34.99 three pack with an additional Orange Squid. Since I missed out on the three pack previously due to limited numbers and had to buy them individually, I will be getting this set. The release video is below.
