Sailor Moon Roppongi Hills Exhibit Now Open

Here’s a blog that makes me sqee like a fangirl while at the same time crying a river a tears that I cannot afford a trip to Japan like RIGHT NOW!!!

This past Saturday, April 16th at the Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills Tokyo, the long awaited Sailor Moon art exhibit and retrospective has opened up!


The Exhibition is showcasing all original and new Sailor Moon artwork from the manga creator Naoko Takeuchi, various Sailor Moon collectibles and goods over the past 20 years, cels from the original 1994 anime, costumes from various musicals, and there is even a cafe serving food based on the Scouts themselves.  There is also Sailor Moon goods made and sold only for this event.

And the one thing that is so awesome are these handmade costumes of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion.


The Exhibit will run until June 19th.  The price to enter is 1,800 yen ($16.50), 1,500 yen ($13.85) for seniors, 1,200 yen ($11) for students, and 600 yen ($5.50) for kids.  Lets hope they bring this stateside, because I would love to see it!!
