Smash Bros. Finale

Nintendo released a video today titled “Final Video Presentation,” and it gave the rundown of some final releases for both the 3DS and Wii U version of the game.  The video is posted below in its entirety, but here are some highlights.

Cloud was announced as a played DLC character last month, and release date had been unknown at that point.  With today’s video announcement, Cloud was mad available for download for both Wii U and 3DS.  The price to download him to one system is $5.99, but just for a dollar more, you can download him to both systems.  He also comes with a Midgar stage.

Two new characters will be added in February, and will mark the end of adding DLC characters to both games.  First, Corrin from the soon to be released Fire Emblem games has joined the battle.  Corrin will be like Wii U trainer and Robin as you can choose a female or male version.  There with be no stage included, but Nintendo will add a couple new tracks for the Fire Emblem stage to from the new game.  Tracks will play at random when the stage is chosen.  The price will be $4.99 for single download to one system, $5.99 for both.

The last character to join Smash will be Bayonetta.  Bayonetta 2 was released for Wii U last year and was a very awesome and underrated game. She will be available the same time as Corrin.  She will have music and a stage included.  Her price is $5.99 for one system or $6.99 for both.
