Nintendo announced today through Youtube and Twitter much DLC content for Super Smash Brothers Wii U and 3DS; which was also made available immediately this morning. The whole video is posted below, but here are the highlights.
Here are the list of characters announced for both Wii U and 3DS versions with pricing. You basically save more buying the bundled versions with both codes for 3DS and Wii U.
Ryu: The Street Fighter character also comes with his stage from the same game. For an individual version of the game, $5.99. For both, $6.99.
Roy: This classic character from Fire emblem is just the character only with no accompanying stage. Individual game, $3.99. For both versions, $4.99.
Lucas: This classic character from Earthbound is available by character only. Individual game, $3.99. Both versions, $4.99.
There are also DLC costumes made available for you customizable Mii fighters. They range in price and come from various games such as Splatoon, Tekken, and Virtua Fighter. Each are available for both games.
Two stages are also available. The first is a throw back from Kirby for the N64. This stage costs $1.99 per game, or $2.99 for both.
A Miiverse level is available for free. This stage allows messages from your Miiverse to show in the background. You messages can end up on other peoples games.
If you are that hardcore, you can purchase all of the downloadable content in one single bundle. For each individual game the cost of the bundle is $21.49. For both games, just $29.16.
I cannot with for the next couple days for any Nintendo’s announcements. It has been rumored that Nintendo Europe has teased this photo on upcoming Amiibo figures. Some were mentioned in todays Youtube video; hinting that all 51 fighters in Smash Brothers will have their own figures. But as the photos show, we can expect Animal Crossing and 8 Bit versions of Mario.
Here’s today’s Smash Brothers Announcement in it’s entirety. Enjoy!
